RIP Adam Yauch... Beastie Boys "MCA"

RIP! My favorite Beastie!

Well, I'm MCA, I got nothing to prove
Pay attention, my intention is to bust a move
I drink quarts and cans and bottles and sixes
Between the turntables keep the vodka and the mixes

That's too bad... I really liked their first album...

RIP...

Never really a big Beastie Boys fan but 47 is way too young.

RIP Adam Yauch.

Yeah, License to Ill will forever be in my music collection. I listen to very little of their stuff after that. Though I will sometimes sing "Whatcha Want" to the kids when I hear them call me or the wife. I know their after something. :laugh2:

one of great albums,RIP MCA.

I just can't believe it. I loved them from their start and raised my kids to love them, too. Saw them in concert and owned almost all their music. Luv ya, MCA. RIP.

R.I.P. Adam Yauch.

Paul's Boutique is one of my favorite albums. Sad day, sad day. :(

Kerry King of Slayer not only appeared in the No Sleep Till Brooklyn video playing the lead guitar for the sing, but he did actually play that lead for the song on the album too. The recording occurred before Slayer really got it's feet under them with the release of the Reign in Blood album.

There is only one song on this album that I actually don't really like. That would be the song "Girls".

Adam Yauch, one-third of the pioneering hip-hop group the Beastie Boys, has died at the age of 47, Rolling Stone has learned.

I saw the Beastie Boys at Radio City when they were the opening act for Madonna's Like a Virgin Tour (hey, free tickets!). They got booed off the stage. Little did I know at the time what a cool band they were and how big they would become. My how time flies.

RIP MCA.
