'Welcome Back, Kotter's' Horshack, Ron Palillo, dies

Ron Palillo, the class clown from "Welcome Back, Kotter," has died. The actor best known as Arnold Horshack from the 1970s sitcom was 63. TMZ reports the cause of death was a heart attack.

According to TMZ, the actor was having difficulty early in the morning. His longtime partner, Joseph Gramm, a retired actor, called 911. The star was rushed to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.

Man I hate this. I loved that show. Now two main characters from that show is gone. first Robert Heyges (Epstien) and now this.

RIP Ron. And thanks for the great laughs.

I think Epstein has passed too... (I think).

I saw "Horseshack" in one of the "Friday The 13th" films. Gosh, must have been a late 80's entry.

By that point he had "fixed" his nose so it took a double-take to make sure it was him.

Robert Heyges also died from a heart attack.

RIP. It is a real wake-up call seeing people die from our childhood memories and realizing that next generation is in line behind them (which I am probably included in at 42) :( Time sure starts flying after 35

Epstein died earlier this year... Hotsy Totsy died almost 10 years ago... and Woodman obviously is gone...

Not sure if Epstein will be on hand...

I sometimes wondered if he would throw his shoulder out raising his hand to answer one of Mr. Kotter's questions. :) His was a bit part, but he was very memorable.
