What strikes me about Jerry West is, his resume as a GM possibly exceeds his resume as a player, and as a player he was an unquestioned Hall of Famer.

That guy was the architect of some of the greatest dynasties in NBA history as a GM.

Guy was literally top of the heap at virtually everything he put his hand to.
that's pretty special. He will be missed.
