I was testing out a new TV recently and put in Lawrence of Arabia because of the awesome landscape scenes to test the PQ. I only meant to watch for 5mins but got sucked in because of how great it is.

Sorry to see him go. Lawrence of Arabia was one of the great movies of all time. O'Toole was also in a hilarious lesser known movie named Creator in which he played an eccentric scientist.

He was nominated for eight Oscars and never won at all. That is a record. BTW, did get an honorary Oscar though. As a consulation! RIP!

Great actor and wonderful sense of humor. Nominated 8 Oscars I think. We'll all miss him....well most.
