That voice was incredible and he had a presence in all his rolls that very rarely anyone else in the movie could match.
and he was a great guy from all accounts; which in the end was much more important

While I agree with your sentiment on JEJ, for purpose of accuracy the Arby's "We have the meats" (awesome ad campaign) is actually voiced by Ving Rhames.

Does not detract at all from JEJs legendary status.... he will be missed.

My personal favorite role of his is in Field of Dreams.

Ugh....I hated seeing this one earlier today. RIP, good sir! You were a legend and a huge part of some of the most fantastic movies of my childhood.

My daughter's absolute favorite movie growing up was The Lion King. I've seen that movie about a thousand times. Thank you, James Earl Jones, for being such a memorable part of both mine and my daughter's childhoods.

Great actor. Always had that aura of dignity around him and brought it into any role he played. Didn't like every movie he was in but they got better instantly just because he was in them. RIP!
