Risers1.
Colt McCoyQBTexasMcCoy took advantage of his first throwing session in front of NFL scouts since injuring his shoulder in the national championship game, completing all 55 of his passes in a program scripted by Longhorns offensive coordinator Greg Davis on March 31. Working out in front of representatives from 30 NFL teams, McCoy threw the ball with better zip than expected, according to scouts in attendance.

Jordan ShipleyWRTexasShipley steadied his stock at the same workout, shaving a tenth of a second off his 40-yard dash time from the combine by clocking in at 4.53 seconds. He also leaped 36.5 inches in the vertical jump.
3.
Earl ThomasCBTexasThomas ran a blistering time in the 4.3s at Texas' pro day and looked very fluid in drills, a source told NFLDraftScout.com's Rob Rang. The workout only fueled speculation that Thomas could make the switch to cornerback in the NFL.
4.
Everson GriffenDESouthern CaliforniaGriffen was timed at 4.61 seconds at USC's March 31 pro day, according scouts in attendance. Just as important, he displayed an explosive burst off the snap in defensive line drills and good fluidity in linebacker drills.
5.
Kevin ThomasCBSouthern CaliforniaThomas was timed at 4.4 seconds and looked very good in positional drills at the Trojans' pro day.
6.
Cam ThomasDTNorth CarolinaThomas was clocked at fast as 5.14 seconds at 335 pounds at his March 22 pro day. That followed strong showings at the Senior Bowl and combine. Thomas, a bit under the radar because he played in a rotation for the Tar Heels, is moving up boards because he projects to nose tackle in the pros.
Fallers7.
Dez BryantWROklahoma StateBryant finally ran in front of scouts at his March 30 workout in Lufkin, Texas. He was clocked at 4.52 seconds, but only after running a third time following two slow attempts that included a 4.69-second time. He failed to answer concerns about his straight-line speed, as his 4.52 time - with the wind - would have been tied for the 21st-best time among players invited to the combine as wide receivers.
8.
Perrish CoxCBOklahoma StateCox also held a private workout March 30 in Waco, Texas because he was barred from the Cowboys' March 10 pro day following his suspension before the team's bowl game for multiple curfew infractions. He ran a 4.54 40 with the win and a 4.63 against the win, according to NFL.com. That came after a pedestrian best time of 4.58 at the combine.
9.
Taylor MaysFSSouthern CaliforniaMays generated significant buzz with his workout numbers at the combine in Indianapolis, but continues to fail to impress in positional drills. Scouts at USC's pro day said Mays struggled a bit in his transition.
