Ben Roethlisberger will formally meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in New York on Tuesday.

Roethlisberger will be accompanied by attorney David Cornwell and agent Ryan Tollner. Whether he'll be suspended by the NFL is uncertain (and seems unlikely), but Goodell will surely tell Roethlisberger he needs to clean up his act. The NFL will track his behavior closely over the next few seasons.

The Steelers announced Monday that they will not take any action against Ben Roethlisberger until he meets with NFL commish Roger Goodell.

"During the past few weeks I have met with Ben on a number of occasions, not only to discuss this incident, but also to discuss his commitment to making sure something like this never happens again," said president Art Rooney II, who's considering suspending Big Ben. "After consultation with the Commissioner, our organization will determine the next steps in this process."

Time to see if Goodell really means it when he says he wants to enforce a code of conduct policy. Let's see if he dares enforce it on a star QB on a top tier franchise or if he's just full of it.
