Roku 2

So, after dumping all the preimum channels because there was never anything worth watching on them. (well, since the Game of Thrones season ended) I decided to give Netflix a try using my PS3.

So far, the quality has been decent. I've only had it stop once and I just hit play and it started again. (I'm through the first season of Breaking Bad and about 3 episodes into season 2)

There seems to be a lot more streaming content on it and I know my kids like watching movies especially when their friends come over. So, I bought a Roku 2 XD yesterday as for what it offers and for the price it seems like a pretty good deal.

Anyone here have one? If so, what do you think about them?

I've been curious about them, but I really don't have any use for it as I have a spare laptop hooked up to my TV via HDMI.

I can't cut my "cord" I'm addicted to a bunch of shows, even though I tivo everything I like b/c I hate commercials.

I also have an htpc that I have a prime hd cablebox attached to it (3 tuners) and so I share all the tv shows I download on it to all the computers.

I also have a WD HD live player and Xbox (for WMC extender), and have pytivo for transferring things to my tivo.

Also have a logitech Revue that isn't in much use except for my dad to watch soccer on those online tv channel websites.

they all have their uses. I pay $65 for 15MB speed internet and digital cable with WOW! It's actually pretty nice set-up.

Once I have money, I want to get a NAS set up. Right now, my HTPC has like 4GB external HD connected directly to the computer, but would eventually like to get a synology NAS or something.
