Well i bought one today in hopes that it would have Fox Sports Southwest so i could watch the Texas High School Championships since Dish dropped the damn channel several months ago.I really enjoy watching those games every year for the past 20 years or so.

Turns out i can't find it..

Anyone help me out or should i just drop Dish and get Direct Tv ?

Looks like you would need something like FuboTV ($55/mo) to stream it.

I recently got one to stream Disney+ but I haven't explored it fully yet. There's so much new product coming out and it looks like Netflix was preparing for the competitors as they're dropping quite a bit of new content and I have yet to take on AppleTV+.

This would be a good thread to share some Roku finds for those of us new to it. I am not a streamer and still have DirecTV so I am new to this concept, except for Netflix and I had to be sold on that and off the DVD part of it.

Ya know what it is? It's not that I have to learn something new, it's knowing whatever I am learning is going to be obsolete and replaced by something better and newer before I've completely learned this.

I've used Roku for years and love it. It's quite a bit faster than my smart TV so I still use it instead. Netflix is still the king and where I find the most content. Pluto is a new free channel I just added and love it. It's got about 800 channels of free TV and about double that in movies. Lot's of sports channels, news, and older TV. There's even a Baywatch and 21 Jump Street channel that just stream all day. They've got some weird stuff on there like a THC Channel, Mystery Science Theater, and even a camera mounted to the front of trains from all over the world. It's got commercials, but you can lessen them by signing up for the channel and logging in. I also enjoy having the Pandora app on my Roku. I use it all the time for some quick background music. Obviously you also need to get the Dallas Cowboys app.
