So Jerry gets his own TJ, to sooth the souls of the other TJ some still go on about. :lmao:

Article talks about TJ Bass and his path to the NFL.

from MM.

"It looks like football comes pretty easy to him. He doesn't blink, and that's a real pro attribute for a young player. He has a subtle fire confidence to him. He seems very natural and I feel strongly that we'll have position flex [with Bass]."

H-m-m, he looks like someone who can get the job done -- let's hope things work out well for him!
Mike McCarthy sounds like he's sold on him . . . I'd say he'll either make it, or else he wont!

When you get posts touting PS players, you know people are bored.

John Randle walked on with Minnesota and ended up in the HOF...from Texas A&I...not boredom at all. (coughing) except for you.

Considering how little attention people are paying to this thread, your comment seems pretty dumb.

I admit I haven't had the time to dive into Bass yet, but I am making the time now , I admit to knowing nothing about this OL prospect currently.

Or excited about potential starters
Wouldnt a most lovely camp manifest if the following group takes a step..

Muk.. already know its coming

Bell,,, trying to cycle in is going to put players like Coyle on the bubble quickly.

I stand on my soap box about this back seven transcending into the Q scheme, the depth and projection are symbiotic, easily a model is identifiable.

Drafting Overshown was no pipe dream, he is the LB/S clone Q covets, like Kearse, now maybe he finally finds that hybrid he seeks so that he can have two very large aggressive S/LBs playing equal at both angles in this back seven, think about how much we really need this kid to continue to do exactly what he was doing in Texas, on that same style D.

We can play plenty big with Clark, but adding players like Overershown shows why Q has continually brought in this type to find that player that fits.

Its never easy, Cox time card is running out, but you cant ever find that missing link if you dont at least try and keep investing, and this staff has IMHO defensively.

This is it. Solid pass protector, needs to improve in run blocking. Versatile and played multiple OL positions. Should benefit from tons of experience and moving to LG.
I thought the scoop on him was just the opposite. Very good run blocker that needs work in pass pro. We're all hoping to luck into the next Leary.
