Has anybody noticed that Romo continually has his index finger extended while in the huddle? At first, I was thinking that was what the snap was on, and I was like "Well, that's stupid, the defense can see what he is doing. His back isn't to the defence...." Plus, the snap was not on one.

So, I'm just wondering what he is pointing for.....he's holding up the #1 at chest level like he's telling the snap count...but he's not.

Maybe he's telling them, "Hey, I'm talking now." :)

I thought he was just using it as a "placeholder" to read off the play from his wristband?

I never paid much attention so I could be wrong

No, it's while he is talking in the huddle after he already has the play. He's not even looking at his arm....he's looking at the players.

I wondered the same thing, why does he do that? Since we have the overhead shot, you can clearly see it. I thought it might be the snap count, too - then they went into a shotgun with a silent count (leg lift).

He's lecturing the OL............it doesn't always work though.

Romo is measuring the wind!. It's Kentucky...well in his case Wisconsin, Windage. :p:

You sure it was his index finger he was pointing?

Maybe he was flippin' TO off for dropping that TD pass?

Now THAT, I would LOVE to see. I would love for a QB to get all over the WR's for missing an easy catch....or yell at the linemen to do their job. I remember very distinctly that Aikman did it.

did you see Bledsoe get in Key's face for having the ball get stripped from him against the Eagles, last year?

Yep....now, he (Bledsoe) should also do it to T.O. when he comes in from being on the field. Bledsoe can still let the players know that it's not acceptable.

Shoot, the Frickin' HC needs to start yelling at T.O......

That would be genius if he was indictating the snap count... then he could change the number of fingers and call it on a different number

BRILLIANT!!

:lmao2: ...... that makes it even more brilliant. :)

I saw him doing it several times as he was reading from his wrist band. Maybe he just talks with his hand and it is a way to get the attention of everyone else. Maybe it is his way of enforcing that the play he is reading is the 1st option and not the "kill" play.
