Not trying to pour salt in any wounds right now. I know I was on here huffing and puffing about the Giants before the series started but this is directly related to the OP.

Nate Schierholtz' OPS is 200 points higher against LHP than it is against RHP. Even though he is left handed, he hits lefties very well. Against a rightie he is much more prone to get himself out. I know Holland couldn't find the plate, but those same pitches from a RHP are much more likely to get Nate out. That AB turned the game into a disaster for the Rangers and it was simply a poor decision by Washington that started it all.

I still say we come back to SF. Sticking with the Lads in 6.

Second, not an attack on the Texas club - best in the AL BUT , Ron Washington is a stooge, everybit the stooge Wade Foolips is - RW is here because of the GM that Texas has. Texas might not have 210 payroll but they are built that way. These players are going to COST bigtime soon.

Joe Torre was a career loser till he got players - RW is the same.
Now, Bochy has a track record , he took a small market San Dieooogo Pads team to the WS and has now done it with a rag tag makeshift lineup in SF.

Oh, right. His one good postseason after making 9 times. Great job. His 9-38 this year really helped prevent that $210 million bust.
