Yep -- he was DiNucci's teammate as a DE. He had a good rep as a pass rusher. I think he was poached from our PS, also.

I frequently see people making this generic point in posts, but one could also say the history of the nfl is full of examples of players picked up after being cut and having great success with the next team

Not too many UDFA's who have never stuck with a team before.

Rondell Carter was never cut by the Cowboys. Carter simply didn't make the 45 man roster. He passed through waivers and was brought back onto the Cowboys Practice Squad. The Colts then stole Carter from the Cowboys Practice Squad and signed him to their roster. The Colts are the ones who actually cut Rondell Carter recently. Big difference.

One might have said the same about a certain UDFA QB who hadn't seen any action until the starting QB went out. Let's not be so quick to judge.

I'd love to have him here after a full real NFL off season.

He has some skills. Among those hurt most with this offseason.

Not saying he is great, but there's an upside there as a situational rusher.

No one could have determined this guy cant play yet.

If we spent extra UDFA money to bring him here, AND they dont want him back at this point....someone made a very bad decision on priority UDFA.

The PS is basically limitless this year.
