Rooting for the Dolpins for the rest of the season

Before anyone asks why is he posting that here I'll explain.

My little Brother Jeffrey Paul Smith 7/13/1974-10/26/2010 passed away this past Tuesday, and we buried him yesterday. Jeff was always a Dolphin fan. I can recall every time Dallas and Miami would play we'd both as kids get dressed in our shirts and get our team helmets out and we'd actually play out the plays as they would happen on TV. Our team's season is pretty much over, so for the rest of the season I will be routing for Miami in memory of my little brother.

Very sorry to hear about your brother. It sounds like the two of you were very close, which is how it should be. Under the circumstances, no one will slight you for temporarily "disowning" the team. Somewhere, somehow, I'm sure your brother appreciates the gesture. My condolences to your entire family.

Maybe rooting for the dolphins will help you through while you are grieving.
Although for right now I doubt football will help much, the only thing that tends to help it is time.

Im sorry for your loss. You and your brother do sound very close as BB stated earlier. Brothers should be close, unfortunately for me, mine are not and that makes me think a lot about relationships in my family. I do wish things were different and hopefully someday soon they can be.
