You say Romo "missed someone" but Romo is aiming to a spot on the field not at a guy.

Roy has to run to that spot. The ball and receiver meet. That's how it works.

Quarterbacks in the modern era are usually playing reads and spots--they aren't throwing "at" receivers.

Romo had maybe 4 passes that were truly off tonight. That's it.
