It is possible and likely, but Garrett could be using RW as his "change" from last week to this week.

It would be a good plan if that is it, and if he can perform at a high level this week, because it makes it look like we are phasing him out over his struggles and they may not worry about him this week.

We'll see!

Here's to hoping there's a master plan at work...

If Garrett's master plan is to use RW as his "change" from last week to this week then this will be the single-most DUMBEST thing he would have ever done as an offensive coordiantor to date.

Sorry, but you never take the ball out of your regular-season playmakers and entrust it in the hands of your playstoppers to start the playoffs.

As do we all. I doubt theres a single person who truly wishes he continue on his path of ineptitude.

There are many people on here with an agenda and who wish RW to be gone next year. They will be plenty happy to see him not perform well as long as the Cowboys win in the end.

I agree, but if the Cowboys can use him at all it would be a surprise.

eh, even I'm tired of flailing against that no-good prima dona.

As long as he is gone next year. He's irrelevant this year.

Roy Williams is an accomplished WR who played for one of the best universities in the nation. He is a millionaire playing in the NFL and is right now getting ready for a playoff run. You are probably a fat 50 year old who likes to "role play" as a sports announcer on an internet message board, most likely using his mother's computer. Roy Williams is not irrelevant. You are.

Wishing an underachieving player be cut is not the same as wishing an underachieving player continue to stink up the joint.

Finally we start phasing out RW.. let Otree in to make some plays. I've never been the type to wish.. ok I am the type to wish injury on certain players and RW is the one and only!

What a post. :laugh2:

I think you'd be hard pressed to define "accomplished." But I won't even bother asking.

How in the world does Williams being a millionaire, alone, make him relevant? The only thing relevant about how much he is paid is the disparity between his salary and his production. I think that's most people's gripe with his lack of production. After all, if he was paid what, say, Patrick Crayton was paid (or less), and only cost a 7th round draft pick, then I don't think many people would be complaining.

I'd posit that relative to what the man is paid, and what was given up to attain him in the form of draft picks, he has been absolutely irrelevant.

The sooner he's forgotten, the better. Ogletree is far more explosive and reliable and should get the opportunities that Roy Williams has squandered.

Was it a plan or just coincidence. It looked to me that they targeted him and kept Philly off balance because of it.

Roy Williams stepped it up last night, It was nice to see.
