Just checked. He had a pro day and his position is offensive tackle.

Mailata measured just shy of 6-foot-8 and weighed 346 pounds. His arms measured a massive 35.5 inches. He was timed at 5.12 seconds in the 40-yard dash, which would have been good for seventh among tackle participants at the NFL Combine in February. He also excelled in the short shuttle with a time (4.67 seconds) that would have been among the top 10 at his position. Mailata put up 22 reps on the bench press.

That is a good forty time at 346 pounds. Not quite Dontari Poe at 4.98 but it's close.

Kirwin was stating that teams should be giving him a hard look as a defender

As DE or DT? His weight says DT. Probably 3 tech. I be impress if he can do 1 tech even though he doesn't look like a NT with that weight number.

Dude looks 35 in that picture, but he's supposed to only be 20.

Do clocks run slower in Australia?

More pics. But this was in rugby so don't know how long this was. Bodies can change quickly depending what you are training for.

Because of his lack of experience but very athletic, he should be worth a 7th round. Or get him during UDFA.

21-year-old Jordan Mailata has never played a down of football. Not one.

Yet that’s not stopping a handful of NFL teams from wanting to draft him.

Mailata, who currently plays in the Australian National Rugby League, is visiting with five NFL teams this week ahead of the NFL Draft later this month. He met with the Washington Commanders on Monday, and will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Chargers throughout the rest of the week.

“I’m quite surprised at how much interest I’ve sparked up in the last couple of months,” Mailata said in an interview with the NFL Network on Monday. “Being from out of the sport and not really knowing much about it, I’m pretty privileged and honored to receive invites to the clubs. Cheerios to them.”
