This is the last no trade. mock draft that I will do for 2023, as the draft is Thursday. This time, I will not use any simulators as they are likely unreliable. There may be another one with trades between now and Thursday, but not sure.

1 (26) RB Jamyr Gibbs Alabama
Solid replacement for Zeke. Would be an interesting fit as he's similar to Pollard, but is a polished pass catcher. He'd do well with the WCO.

2 (58) OG Steve Avila Guard TCU
Gives us more on the oline. Gives us a chance to secure our guard position and allow Tyler to move to T.

3 (90) NT Gervon Dexter Florida
Gives us a solid NT who can shut down the run.

4. CB Jaylon Jones Texas A&M
Hard hitting CB who can make a nice rotation with Gillmore opposite Diggs.

5 (169) QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson UCLA
Gives us a good mobile QB to develop.

6 (212) WR Tre Tucker Cincinnati
Speedy WR who is very good at returning kicks. Gives us a rotation at kick return, as well as in the slot.

7 (244) K Chad Ryland Maryland
Replacement for Maher

Hope you all enjoyed this. This woud improve us at RB, improve our oline, improve our spot at NT, improve us at CB, give us a QB to develop, a speedster for WR and KR purposes, and a kicker.

Gee, another Gibbs draft. Predictable.

Its like RB crazed fans have accepted that Bijon will be gone so its right onto the next RB on the universal list.

Mocking Bijan to the Cowboys is unrealistic.
Cant think of a pick that would be worse for the Cowboys on value than Gibbs.

Amazing how different opinions can be.

Gibbs lovers basically want to draft Tony Pollard with our first round pick.

I'd prefer QB, OL or DL. Everything else can wait until Friday. QB is obviously out of the question but I guess you never know.

So you want a QB in the first round in a bad QB draft? And let me guess, he is going to instantly be Mahomes right?

Tons worse picks than Gibbs. Gibbs is a better Pollard and allows you to not get stuck in a Pollard contract going forward.

Pollard averaged more yards per rush in the NFL than Gibbs did in college. And Pollard had a worse Oline relative to the competition.

Pollard made Zeke look like a total chump.

Pollard breaks tackles, can run up the middle in the pros all better than Gibbs did.

Cowboys in 4 years had no idea how to use Pollard. Do you really think they would be able to use Gibbs in a way that would maximize his skillset? Honest question.

Avila won't be there at 58 and Dexter won't be there at 90, but obviously would love this draft in the highly unlikely event that it happens.

Exactly, not to mention the offense that we are switching to. Schotty will have a lot of fun designing plays.

I'm mainly going this direction because I have noticed it heating up, and I do think it's very possible that Jerry does go this route. Besides, I think a combo of Gibbs and Pollard becomes a very deadly duo.

They would be much more deadly with a Great Oline in front of them.
