William Beatty-T- Giants Sep. 15 - 10:32 am et

Giants OT William Beatty (foot) is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

No word yet if the Giants will place the "swing" tackle on injured reserve. It's a blow to the Giants as Beatty is one of the better backup tackles in the league.

Kevin Boss-TE- Giants Sep. 15 - 11:19 am et

Kevin Boss (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Boss is accumulating concussions. With each one he suffers, the recovery period is longer. Backup Travis Beckum will fill in as the pass-catcher while Bear Pascoe comes in on running downs.

Hakeem Nicks-WR- Giants Sep. 15 - 11:08 am et

Hakeem Nicks is on the Giants' pre-practice injury report with an ankle issue.

Nicks is going to sit out Wednesday's practice but is expected back for Thursday's workout. He actually hurt the ankle in the beginning of Sunday's game and went on to score three touchdowns. It's not a real concern and it is safe to start Nicks as a WR2 against the Colts on Sunday night.

They'll be even better without Beatty. They're moving Shawn Andrews, who's been to Pro Bowls at RT, over there since he dominated all preseason.
