Michael Vick-QB- Eagles Oct. 3 - 6:04 pm et

ESPN's Adam Schefter passes along "speculation" that Michael Vick has a hairline fracture of his collarbone.

Schefter concedes that he has no legitimate sources confirming the fractured collarbone, but such an injury could cost Vick multiple weeks. He's already been ruled out for the remainder of Week 4. Kevin Kolb hasn't looked great since replacing Vick earlier Sunday, but will be among the top waiver pickups for Week 5. Vick owners will just have to be patient.

Dog-gone it!

Well I'm sure he'll get better soon. He'll be chasing his tail to get back on the field.

He's a well trained athlete and they usually heal well from these things. I'm sure he'll be barking up a tree at the trainers.

This injury is most likely due to his running style of play. After two year off, it's still pretty obvious with him that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

One thing's for sure, he better wipe his paws when he gets back before taking a snap.

Too bad it's just a minor injury.

Was hoping he was paralyzed...

And we jump on fans of other teams for what they say about Cowboys and our injuries.

Yeah, but as far as we know they haven't set up dog fighting rings. Some people are not going to forgive Vick for that and will wish the worst on him.

You're....

Some people hate Vick. Get over it.

I mean I live in Atlanta and experienced everything first hand, but I would never wish anyone to be paralyzed. It is kind of sick and demented to wish that upon someone...

It's more then a bit sick and demented to torture and kill animals for pleasure.

But you are not wrong.

I don't disagree with you, but does it make any better for a human to wish harm on another person. Kind of the same ballpark for me, but that could just be me.

Let's see one is a animal another is a human being. I think you got some mental issues if you really think animal fighting is worse than wishing a human to be paralyzed. It's really a pretty simple distinction. Animal fighting happens all over the world. Some people are just stupid enough to think that that dog is actually a member of their family. Depending on where you are raised it will influence your view on things and what you are willing to tolerate. Face it most people like blood sports. Do you enjoy boxing? MMA? Its a bit sick and demented to watch to human beings beat on each other and cause permanent brain injury just for your viewing pleasure.

Personally, I wish Vick the best. He did the time, he paid his debt to society, let the man move on with his life to earn a living. He's was playing well, if you can't see that, they you hate the man for personal reasons.

It is a contract year for Vick. He is a FA after the searon, IIRC.

He will get better quickly. He needs the money. That alone is the greatest motivater.

Your post is so lacking in any logic I struggle to find a point to start.

One is an act of violence the other is nothing more then a statement of opinion. Killing an animal for fun or pleasure is the sign of a warped mind. Wishing ill on another person while being nasty is no quite the same as smashing somethings skull in just to see if it's fun or not.

I don't believe anybody watches MMA to see permanent brain injury to be caused. I think they are just hoping for a good contest.

You seem to be defending animal fighting just because it happens in parts of the world. So, by your logic, just because it goes on that makes it OK? Do you feel the same way about rape & murder. Because they happen quite frequently.

I agree he has paid his debt, but the next point about him playing well and hating him for personal reasons is rambling I'm not sure what you mean. What has him playing well got to do with anything? If he was stinking it up does that mean you wouldn't care about him? As for hating him for personal reasons......well if you really need that explained....of course it's personal. How would it ever not be? Some people think he's scum, and strangely that has nothing to do with how he performs on a football pitch or the uniform he wears....I guess that would be fundamentally hating him for personal reasons...

And by the by, when you say most people like blood sports you should probably look up what they are first.
