Ryan Mallett in third round?

[Avery]

I would rather take someone like McElroy in the 6th.

He won't be there in the third unless he beats a hooker up sometime between now and draft day.

[Hostile]

Other than Andy Dalton, there isn't a QB in this draft that I would want the Cowboys to consider.

I like Dalton, but I also like McElroy, Stanzi, and Kaepernick. I am torn on Ponder.

I even like Cam Newton, but as I said, not in the 1st round and he is a 1st rounder.

[TD-33]

Poor attitude - False
Clashes with coaches and teammates - totally false
Infamous substance issues - maybe smoked weed, but "infamou"?
Accuracy concerns - easily the most accurate deep ball in the college game, Immobile - pretty much
Overconfidence in his arm - Have you seen how far he can throw it?

He has walked out of Arkansas practices and talks tons of trash (even to his own teammates in practice). He constantly tries to fit passes between two and three defenders because he has too much confidence in his arm. His short and medium accuracy is a big cause for concern.

He earned six unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in college (unheard of for a QB), was thrown out of a high school game for taunting an injured defensive lineman and supposedly failed a drug test at Michigan. His marijuana use is legendary in Texarkana. He got busted for distribution his junior year of HS and his dad paid his way out.

He can throw the ball a mile, though...but so could Jeff George and JaMarcus Russell.

that will leave a mark :laugh2:
