Saban Compares Ingram to Emmitt...

[Chocolate Lab]

Garrett seems to worship Saban, so I wouldn't doubt it if we took him.

BTW, who's the second best back Saban would have coached at his various stops?

I'm with Aven8 on Thomas, though. That's the type of back we need.

Ingram will never be half the player Emmit was. We have no interest in getting this team back on track if we take Ingram.

If Ingram was half the player Emmitt was, he'll be damn good.

I think i'm the only one on the whole board who wans to draft this kid....

Uh, no..

Uh, no..

The only one who would spend a first on him. Probably. i don't think we would but i would love it if we did.

Felix is a very good player, he played with too much weight last yr and needs to play closer to what he did his first two yrs here.

Ingram hasnt ever really been a "fulltime" runner either, he's split carries at Alabama much like Jones has here and previously at Arkansas.

I think it would be an ideal situation for us as both players are used to a 2 back system.

1,658 yards and a Heisman trophy in 2009 says otherwise.
