If one of our guys is going to get it I think it will take a Falcons loss today. The media is determined to not give that trophy to a Cowboy.

It wouldn't hurt if the Dolphins and Lions won as well. They would have no choice then.

Favre will get it on the strength of that perfect pass to his dog in the Copper Fit commercial.

Well, he would if it were up to Madden. :)

Merry New Year!

If it's up to the media, Brady is their obvious choice. But 2016 seems to be the year that the media got so much wrong. Maybe we should not give up hope that a Cowboy could still be MVP.

"A Cowboys QB is not allowed to have any help from his supporting cast.

If said QB has support from a talented offensive teammate, we shall then thrust THAT player into the MVP discussion in order to ensure that said QB CANNOT win MVP.

WE... HAVE... SPOKEN!!!!!!!!"

Brady is the best in the league at deflating footballs.

Matt Ryan is having a better season than Brady, even if you assume Brady has been playing all year. It will be Ryan or Zeke.

Nobody likes to mention how the Patriots play well whether Tom Brady plays or not. Matt Cassel looked great for that one season when Brady went down early and they wen't 3-1 with Jimmy G and and a rookie this season. I do personally would not vote for Brady as MVP if I were part of the super cool guy MVP voting committee.

Ryan is having a great year(MVP worthy) but never gets the caveat of throwing to Julio Jones, whereas Dak gets lumped with Zeke and great Oline at every mention in the media. I think there is a real cowboy bias, for example Sean Lee missing the Pro Bowl and Thomas Davis making it in ahead of him. Ask yourself who would you want starting for the cowboys this year Mattyice, or Dak. I think most fans would want Dak and all of our opponents would choose Ryan.

as pre usual the cowboys wont get many national awards zeke or dak one will win offensive rookie of the year and that will pretty much be it for the cowboys to have all the great players they have had and only one win the mvp is awful.

That's because you don't know what Ryan would look like behind arguably the best o-line in football.

Prescott doesn't have a chance in hell of getting MVP. The fact that he is a rookie is just one of a few more obstacles to him receiving the award. Honestly, I don't understand the preoccupation and obsession with him receiving an award that is arrived at by almost purely subjective means.

If there's one team you don't want to be counting on to keep a QB from lighting it up, it's the Saints.
