I agree with you. I just think McCarthy might have had enough of Jerry's BS and take the Chicago job. If that happens, I don't want Kellen Moore as the new HC.

Maybe that's Jerry's grand 'plan'. Take a long *** time and do nothing until Mike leaves on his own and there's no one good left to hire, so he can point to Zimmer, his record, stability, late season 'success' bla bla bla to try and pitch an obviously terrible decision.

Least amount of effort involved, plus he's cheap because no one else wants him. Perfect for the Joneses.
