Does anyone know if Pagano is still under contract or if SD is willing to let him go? They wouldn't let him go last year so why now? Wade wanted him bad last year so if his contract is up, I'd think he'd already have been hired.

They wouldn't let him go last year b/c they had lost their OC to MIA, TE coach to CLE, Inside LB Coach to SF, and DC to somewhere I can't remember and allowed us to take their DB coach.

I believe we were interested in Pagano and Lofton but those moves were blocked - really that was kind of about just having some bodies b/c they hired so late.

I can see them letting Pagano go b/c they have Rivera also coaching LBs and he's obviously looking for a job with more responsibility.
