Sarkisian selling Golden

I have to ask:

Who is ‘this team’?

With all of the changes made over the past several years, who’s left?

I’m of the opinion that many previously widely-held beliefs are no longer the case.

The times they are a-changin’.

My pick is Golden, and that’s who I see the team drafting as well.

Tyreek Hill measurables with his head screwed on straight? Sign me up!
What I mean by 'this team' is the scouts. We haven't drafted a receiver under 6ft since Ryan Switzer (was that his name?!). I believe they have definitive size thresholds for each position. They'll make exceptions but only later in the draft or free agency.

Did you see the quarterback?

Golden had to wait on the ball on a consistent basis.
Definitely part of Goldens problem, yes. By all accounts, he runs great routes, gets separation, and can catch the ball.

Then again, the WRs also have poor play but still produced (save Bolden). Could be that Golden's a late bloomer though.

To be clear, I don't not like the player. He's a great prospect with all the tools. I just think there will be better options at 12.

Fair enough.

I feel that this new coaching staff is going to stress to the scouts that they want speed over size.

With Mingo, Fluornoy, and Brooks, I think they have their size guys.

It’s just our fan opinions at the end of the day anyway.

What I find kind of interesting is how little attention Jack Bech is getting.

He would be a sneaky good pick. Of course, not at 12. But I just like how savvy the guy is.

I'm also not as down on our current group of guys. I just want to get better as a team. As I've been saying for the past couple of years, though, if Lamb gets hurt, we don't have anyone who can keep us at least semi-competitive.
