Scary stat from last 5 games

Over the last 5 games our point differential was -2

This from a team that was leading the NFL in point differential by Thanksgiving.

There was a thread on here talking about how this was the most important indicator of potential playoff success.


- get healthy
- get pressure on defense
- get turnovers on defense
- open up the game on offense using Pollard and flex the play calling
- clean up special teams.


Just get the first win out the way and bring back the point differential from the first half of the season please....we all need playoff success this year...the fan base is starved...2 wins would feed us for another 5 years

I honestly think getting to the nfcc game would invigorate this fan base for the next 5 years...losing in the division round has gotten old....WC wins just feel table stakes...need something more

We can get to the NFCCG and lose in a close well played game.
It will not change anything. Same fans will still whine about the same things. Same fans will still give same reasons why the team is getting better. Same fans will still blame Dak or Jerry or Zeke or Rowdy ( that would be me )

Seems a little misleading since we lost by 20 to the Skins (when over the previous four it would have been +18) and if you used the last six games instead of the last five, the point differential is +33 even with the Washington game.

It's tough to get to Super Bowls. Takes a combination of a lot of factors. I'd be ecstatic if we made it to the NFC championship game because it's a step in the right direction. Not expecting us to get out of the first round, but hoping it happens. I'd like to expect it, but my expectations have been shattered too often that I no longer will allow myself to do that (plus, this team hasn't really given me reason of late to expect it).

If we win Monday night it will be the first road playoff win since the 1992 NFC Championship game in SF! If we win a road playoff game this year Mike McCarthy will join Jimmy Johnson and Tom Landry as the only Cowboys coaches to get road playoff wins.
