We know that Micah is a force, and just the thought of him gives offensive coaches nightmares. It's their job to make sure he doesn't wreck games (WE WANT HIM TO OF COURSE!) These coaches are paid to combat his great talent. With that said, when schemed well against, it leaves Micah being double team/tripled/or chipped block, basically making him ineffective. My question is, who else steps up, do we see enough from those guys with 1 on 1 opportunities to affect the QB since Micah wouldn't be able to in that instance? Please give your thoughts!

Just the fact that Parsons takes two (or sometimes more) guys to stop, leaves 1 or more guys on the Cowboys D with less in their way, so it's still a win for Dallas. You're right though: the other 6 men on the front-7 need to recognize this and take advantage. I am confident they are aware, as are the coaches.

offenses can put him out in space and hope he guess wrong on the option plays. The Eagles did this and they did block him well. shrugs.

This is where Lawrence has to feast. Sometimes he does and other times not so much.

- Hankins and Mazi eat up the blockers and allow us not to be as one-dimensional on offenses countering #11.
- Almost as important, hope for a breakout season from Osa.
- Already know Tank and Armstrong can provide counter balance. Counting on Sam Williams to be another.
- Improve secondary to boost coverage sacks. Gillmore with young Diggs and Bland improving too. Don’t underestimate Hooker either who is finally staying healthy, confident and flashing some of that first round talent.
- To keep decreasing their confidence that running into us can negate #11, looking for a strong season from Damone Clarke who by all accounts has started to understand the pro game better and is now able to show that talent we knew he had.

Optimistic about all these improvements. Just need to stay healthy. ~crosses fingers~

It’s a catch 22 for the giants. Lawrence destroyed Evan Neal last time, but Micah is scarier than ever. I think they will help Neal more and leave Andrew Thomas to deal with Micah 1-on-1, and hold their breath. If you put Micah on Neal, it makes the decision easy to double team Micah. I think the cowboys would be dumb to do that

Very true, but it's like you neutralize him, nobody else knows how to get home. Armstrong did it a few times and tank, just needs to be more consistent

You know why, because he thinks every play is a pass play to pass rush, then he runs right up the field, and he's gashed every time

Agreed!! He usually does GREAT against the g-men, hopefully to be more consistent against non g-men teams

But he was going against our guys all summer, it's time to see this new improved (if that is even possible), time for him to beat up on someone else!

Part of that issue was on the back end. The coverage from the corner opposite Diggs was a problem spot all season long (especially after Brown got injured), and the QB was able to find an open receiver over there before anyone could get home. Micah had to fight through double and triple teams and the other guys just didn’t have enough time to get there.

Having Gilmore over there instead of a hodge-podge of back roster players will be a huge difference. Those extra couple of seconds the QB has to hold the ball should really help the guys get home. The fact that all the DB’s are known Ball-hawks should make the QB think twice before letting it fly.
