We are not who I thought we were. this looked allot like let down games from years past. I was hoping we would be more prepared each game this year. Also the play calling today was very vanilla. Penalties on D and the play of the D was shocking to me. Yes Diggs is hurt and the O-line was decimated but we looked horrible.

Nah season is over. No good team gets embarrassed like this by a team like the Cardinals. I can understand a team like the 49ers of Dolphins, but the CARDINALS? And with our upcoming schedule, this team is going to be taken to the slaughterhouse and back.

I disagree but this is probably the worst we can look at any given time as we basically failed at all phases of the game. We didnt finish our drives, too many penalties, sloppy play, open guys, and just downright awful reads (that INT ). But I know we are better than this and the first two games of the season proved that much. What we can say is what will happen next week. If we come out blazing then its a lesson learned at least.

So games one and two were a fluke yet this one game is the norm?

You people really need to calm down, take a deep breath, and listen to yourselves. The Cowboys played poorly today. You're not winning 40-0 every week in the NFL.

Well we are exactly who I thought we were exactly who we've been for a long time and exactly who we will continue to be.

We are a team that needs to play with a lead that can't stop the run and struggles in the red zone.

We are a team with a ceiling of making the playoffs and maybe winning a game if we're lucky and that is it
If you make your expectations conform with our potential you won't be disappointed

Dallas always reverts to the same clownboys team that gets beat up against physical Teams. Denver exposed us. 49ers exposed us and the Cardinals showed us nothing changed.

We're going to have the same issue with Hurts and the same issue with the 49ers.

I don't believe the sky is falling, but I feel very differently about this team than I did a few hours ago. If you don't think we have problems on offense, especially in the red zone, then you're delusional.

I know there are problems but I also know there are 14 games left to go. If they come out next week and win big again will anyone care about this game?

The Cowboys were missing three starting linemen today and this is only game three of McCarthy calling the plays. The main culprit today were penalties and that can be fixed.

As for the defense the Cardinals figured out how to run on Dallas and that made all the difference. It was better in the 2nd half but by then the Cowboys were already trailing.

If you don’t think the season is over then you have not paid attention the last 27 years . We will never win with Jerry still as owner . The only success he had in the NFL was when Jimmy ran the team and he ran him off . Yes it’s over .

Culprits Today
1) Run defense steamrolled.
2) Anemic yards per target. 2/7, 17 yards to Cooks.
3) Lost turnover battle.

Even before today, the obvious way to attack the Cowboys is to run it at them. If you try to throw a lot, the defense will eat you up. You gotta hope they can't stop your run game. And we couldn't.

Today really blew up the Cowboys' formula. They want to play with a lead. That way teams don't have time to run the ball and this defense can just tee off.

Having said that I was (somewhat) encouraged that the defense appeared to shore things up against the run in the second half. Then Arizona hit that huge pass that basically ended the game.

The only silver lining……this is a typical Dallas performance in Arizona. We’ll see what happens next week.

No, this season is over. We are without our best DB by far. 2nd best defender on the team. Redzone offense is putrid. Playcalling is equally as putrid. We are soft on both sides of the ball. Arizona killed us on the ground all day. Giants would have but the game got crazy out of hand and they had to go full on pass.

This is the same ol Cowboys we have seen for nearly 30 years. Look good in stretches but always come back to their median, which is an average team. They might eek out a wild card win every half decade but that's it. They also might reel you in later this season where you think this game was an outlier. Don't fall for it.

We will get shredded by any good offense in this league and our offense isn't keeping up in a shootout.

Remember, we were supposed to lean on the defense and the offense takes their lead. Well, that isn't happening anymore.

We traditionally make bad teams with backup qb's look all pro.
