Roster predictions:

• Keeps improving noticeably - Fergy and Tyler Smith
• Have a hard time seeing them turn in better years than last - Aubrey, Bland, CeeDee, Dak
• Hit their peak - All safeties, Center
• Struggles with ACL aftermath - Diggs.… Young guys I hope won’t, and have breakout seasons - Overshown, Stephens & Steele. We’ll see….
• Back or not, at the age for big dropoff - Zack, Tyron, Tank, Big Hank, Gilmore, Cooks

Coaches

• Replaced good vet DC with good vet DC, but no drastic changes like bringing in a 3-4 guy.
• Most the coaches going to be back. No wonder kid geniuses.
• Three early exits, and now a lame duck coach. How does McCarthy inspire the troops?
• Coach Mac is in serious need of a 2016 and Zeke/Dak draft impact like Garrett had to rebound his tenure.

Defense

• New DC doesn’t fix undersized personnel.
• Still have no answer at DT. Anyone see how much pressure #95 Jones got for the Chiefs when it mattered? (Tip, rumor is he may be a FA).
• A lot of pressure on Overshown to be the stud LB with injury issues both last year and his entire college career, because he seems like the only young guy on D that has a chance to have a breakout year.

Offense

• No set running game and some key OL near retirement. Don’t see how this works without some home runs in FA or the Draft. Especially because Dak has shown he’ll never carry the team in the Playoffs. Expect another solid 2nd-5th place vote MVP regular season from him and another quick Tourney exit without a dominant run game and defense?

Prediction

• Stephen lost his boy DQ, and now getting his boy Zimm ready for another takeover if Mac stumbles. Do these Jones Boys ever hire anyone who isn’t part of the family, or tried and true vet? Al Davis never got it back in his old age until he took a shot on a young smart pup from the outside of the organization named Jon Gruden. Just saying…
