Just sent these pics in to PWinsider and posted them here, he looks like a shell of his former self.

That's disappointing.

Really is to be honost, I was expecting a return for next years mania from him with his failed MMA experiment, but honestly he will never be able to regain all that muscle and it would take him a year, most likely more of dedicated work in the gym to even resemble himself in the eyes of the mass WWE audience, and he's 42.

Batista to Open New ***-Kicking MMA Facility

According to sources, the 6'6" 290-pounder is in the process of opening an MMA training facility in Tampa called Gracie Fighter Jiu Jitsu -- and if the name Gracie sounds familiar ... it's because the Gracie family is credited with establishing modern day MMA.

The gym is currently only open to close martial artist friends ... but Batista and his partner Cesar Gracie -- who trains several top fighters on the West coast -- plan to open it to the public next week.

Looks like thats a favorable picture, and the other ones are very unfavorable. Probably somewhere in the middle, either way he's not close to what he once was which really disappoints me as I was hoping for another Batista run.

Don't watch wrestling, but just had to comment that's it's a little strange to hear that the first few pics represent him as a "shell" of his former self, especially since compared to his prior self, it's actually true.

I mean, he looks totally normal now. The before pic is just crazy.

I don't care for wrestling, but my brother saw him recently at a local restaurant (he's from Burke, VA if I'm not mistaken).

He's still ripped but looked very lean -- must be the MMA stuff. Probably wants to be more technical and quick than a bruiser.

amazing how much shorter wrestlers get when they step out of the ring.
