At least one gunman attacked worshippers at a Sikh temple in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, on Sunday, leaving at least one dead and two wounded while police converged on the site.

Some people are believed to be trapped inside the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, and at least one gunman may still be inside, Alderman Dan Jakubczyk told CNN.
"As far as I know, it is still an active situation," Jakubczyk said.

This is one of my biggest fears every year during the World Series Of Poker event....there you have literally thousands of players and some have mortgaged their entire furure and savings on a one shot game, sometimes tempers flair when all is lost on one single hand....yes there are a lot of security and police around but these things happen so quick you just never know what can happen.

6 people dead, horrible can't believe again this soon.

I'm sure people here are weary of bad news involving shootings. It does sound like the gunman had his own issues. AnY way you out it, it's a sad day for the people of Wisconsin and a terrible loss for Sikh followers everywhere.:(

Not a knock at the honarable Military and ex-military personnel, but as one of the military men himself said, not all the military personnel are the hero's as made by general public. There are dirt bags everywhere. This ex-military person has had issues and been let-go in not so honarable discharge. Also has had issues with work place etc.

There are roughly 22 million veterans. You're going to find examples of all kinds of human beings and diseases in that many people. His being a vet has no bearing on his criminal behavior.

I have met a lot of REMFs that I would not stop to piss on if they were on fire.

(CBS/AP) OAK CREEK, Wis. - Before he strode into a Sikh temple with a 9 mm handgun and multiple magazines of ammunition, Wade Michael Page played in white supremacist heavy metal bands with names such as Definite Hate and End Apathy.

The bald, heavily tattooed bassist was a 40-year-old Army veteran who trained in psychological warfare before he was demoted and discharged more than a decade ago.

When the shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in suburban Milwaukee ended, six victims ranging in age from 39 to 84 years old lay dead. Three others were critically wounded, including Oak Creek Police Officer Lt. Brian Murphy.

Page was shot and killed by 32-year Oak Creek Police veteran Sam Lenda on scene.

A day after the shooting, fragments of Page's life emerged in public records and interviews. But his motive was still largely a mystery. He left no hate-filled manifesto, no angry blog or ranting Facebook entries to explain the attack.
