Should Kitna start??

How about an o-line that can pass block and WR's that can get open? Until that happens Romo is going to struggle.

Our o-line out weighs that d-line by I don't know how much and we really didn't run the ball too much....Barber was out most of the game and who knows about Choice....he didn't look hurt....

42 passes....25 runs....we are built to run and we really never let the run game develop.

WR's that are too slow to get open and an o-line that can't block when passing....and some people want to blame Romo? Give me a break.....

Really??? You arent blaming Romo for this loss???? You gotta be kidding.

Not yet. But if he another one of these against friggin KC, then yes.

I'm sort of on this boat. If he looks really bad again next week against a bad team in KC, then I think you might start thinking about letting him sit a week to get his head right. It's obvious something is wrong.

They were shutting down the run pretty good all day, we needed to pass some to open up some running lanes. I wish MB3 was out there in the 2nd half, I dont even know if he got a carry in the 2nd half.

The only good thing about a loss is that Cowboyszone becomes way more entertaining.
You ain't kidding.

You act like Romo can throw it to a guy that is blanketed....he went ahead and did and had them batted away a couple of times...The o-line can't pass block...pressured MANY times and sacked 5 times.....Once WR's are getting open and the o-line that can do their job and THEN Romo is sucking, THEN I'll put it on him.

The o-line isn't doing a bad job, they have been pretty good as far as I can see. Having no receivers the defense is afraid of is killing them. Tony not being to hit the broad side of a barn is not helping either. The other problem is now that defenses do fear the running game they stack the lin of scrimmage to stop it, to bad we have no receiver to run playaction and the receivers we have can't get open if we did run playaction.

No, Jon Kitna is what he is, a backup.

This season, I want to live and die with Tony Romo.

Personally, I think he is a good Quarterback, I just think he suffers from bad Coaching.

If we had the proper Head Coaching, there is no question we would win some of these games, imo.

It doesn't matter. Changing the quarterbacks will not make the Cowboys organization any less dysfunctional.

Go check out the play-by-play....it's not like we were behind in the game....we ONLY got behind in the final 2:00. 42 passes from one team is normally indicative of a team that is playing catch up.

8 total rushes in the second half....3 in the 3rd qtr....

Lost fumble at their own 10 yd line leading to a TD and an INT in the endzone that in a bad scenario should have been 3 points at least, thats a 10 point swing and its all on Romo. I know this changing of the QB is an overreaction but Romo is really strugling and thats the truth.

the fumble i would blame the blocking at least as much if not more than romo

Romo just does not have the personality to handle the type of pressure that has been thrust upon him this season. He's not at "epic failure" yet but it's getting there. This franchise HAS to start looking for new blood at the QB position. It absolutely cannot accept this mediocre play every other week. Romo is just too inconsistent and it's not getting better, it's worse than ever.

Fumble....where was the blocking?

INT...I'm actually wondering if the WR was supposed to break outside as they were talking about it after the play.

I looked at our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th possessions of the second half, when Denver's pass rush was consistently getting to Romo and he threw 9 passes for a total of 9 yards.

Nine passes for nine yards, in a game we were winning at the time. There is no excuse for that, with this offensive line. We ran only 3 times during those 3 drives, for 15 yards. 5.0 per rush, 1.0 per pass.

For every idea for a run play he has, Garrett has 7 or 8 ideas for a pass call.

Not true. They shut it down long enough for Garrett to abandon it, which took exactly one half. They did their homework, and it was easy homework, because the same scenario plays itself out on a regular basis.

Absolutely not. Garrett needs to stop calling pass plays all the time. This offense should be simple. RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, pass, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN!

Romo doesn't look great, but you can't blame him for alot of this. The play calling has been terrible. The INT looked like a miscommunication between him and Austin. And the offensive line NEEDS to give Romo more time. They got beat bad today, and they have been getting beat on passing plays all year.

Romo has had time all year, he holds the ball to long. 3 of the sacks he took today he had time to get ball off, but always looking deep then check off to a RB....

OK then, Romo had nothing to do with the Cowboys losing this one.
