Should the Dallas Cowboys trade up in the 1st round for RB Bijan Robinson if he's still available by the 15th spot pick?

If RB Bijan Robinson falls out of the Top 10 spots in the 1st Round and is still available by the time the Green Bay Packers pick at spot #15, should the Dallas Cowboys trade their #26th (1st Round) overall pick, along with their #90th (3rd Round) overall pick, to the Packers in order to move up to #15 and draft Bijan Robinson (decade's type of RB who can play all 3 downs, plus pass protect and catch the football)? Even if Green Bay wanted 1 more extra pick, throw in next year's 3rd or 4th round pick.

Would you make the trade to pick up this generational type of RB?

What say you?

Let's be clear about "That Game".

To trade up from 26 to 15...Cowboys would likely need to give up the second round pick.

Still interested? I'd be a little tempted, but no. No! Give me Kincaid/Mayer and one of the other very good backs. Or something rich and tasty for my defense.

No. That's why I said: this year's 1st & 3rd round picks...plus next year's 3rd round pick...to move up to this year's 15th overall pick. That would very likely be a fair trade value...

We get to keep this year's 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th round picks.

Why would Green Bay trade back for extra 3rd round pick when they are about to get at least two 2nds for Rodgers. To get up to the top 15 the Cowboys would have to give up an extra 1 or give up the 2nd and third pick as well. This scenario only works if the Cowboys traded with Minnesota or a team in the lower 20s. You don’t trade up for a running back.

It I had to guess and this is with the assumption that no other team trades up for Robinson, he with be drafted with the 21st pick by the Chargers. Don’t think I make this trade up to a Seattle at 20 even if it involved just a 3rd. If he is there at 26 take him but if not use 58 or 90 for a Charbonnet, Abanikanda, Spears, or a Bigsby.

Not true. Look at the value chart link below...

If the Cowboys gave up this year's 1st & 2nd round picks, that would equal the value of the Packers 15th overall pick.

If they traded as I originally suggested (this year's 1st & 3rd, plus next year's 3rd round picks), that would possibly be enough. But that is if the Cowboys truly wanted such a generational type of RB...which Bijan Robinson has the talent and ability to be.

Those RBs are ok good, but they are not in the same league as Robinson.

You know you can throw the value chart away. Green Bay probably will be in position to draft a player they want at 15. The only way they would consider a trade down of 11 spots would be if the players they like are gone. But I will play your game. The Cowboys could probably get a back at 80% of Robinson’s ability at pick 90. I would rather have that and keep my other picks as well.

After 5 years of Zeke nonsense, and what we've seen with Shaquon...I renounce anyone trying to seduce us with over-investing in running back.

If he's there for us at 26...I'll think about it. Otherwise: Get behind me Satan.

I wouldn’t trade up for Bjon if you guaranteed me he would have a CMC first five year career. Robinson is not Bo,AD or Barry.

According to the trade value chart below, this year's 1st and 3rd round picks...but very likely would also need next year's 3rd round pick included. It's a total of 3 picks (2 this year and 1 next year), but Bijan Robinson is a rare type of RB. Would you do it?

https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=Dal
I wouldn’t - I’m not against drafting a RB at 26 like a lot on the zone and agree Robinson is exceptional but with so many starters with one year left on contracts, we need draft picks especially in the first 3 rounds. Think I would rather have a combination of Avila & Charbonnet/Bigsby/Spears/Abanikanda instead of just Robinson. Plus I have my 3rd next year with a lot of free agents especially in the secondary.

As much as I would like to have Bijan, I prefer not to trade up. But Dallas needs to draft either a DT or an OG.

I prefer a guard. The more I read about O'Cyrus Terrence, the more I think this is the guy. I have never seen a player projected in the draft who doesn't have warts. There is always a complaint. But this guy could be a mauler in the run game. And he is no slouch in the passing game.

Move Tyler Smith to right tackle. Put Tyron at left tackle. Terrence at left guard with Biadasz and Martin could be the answer.

I get push back on this, but a balanced offensive attack is what was lacking in the play-offs. Dallas had upgraded the WR corps, and perhaps the RB corps.
Open holes for the run game and protect for Dak and watch this team take a leap forward.

I like this guy over Avila.
