The principals of it, slant slant slant and more slants, do we get rid of it and use something else. I'm not sure what else can be used at this point, please give your thoughts....

The most successful offenses in the league are all variations of the west coast offense. The trick is not to run it like it's still the 1990s.

The West Coast offense is fine. We have to change our running scheme and draft an all purpose back/center/left tackle. A true running game brings the safeties and linebackers up. Buffalo, Green Bay, and Detroit exposed us up front.

It makes no sense that a cover 2 look shuts down the offense. West coast or not. Plenty of ways to attack a cover 2 look.

Ironically those aforementioned teams are lead by All Purpose Splash type RBs
..Cooks in Buffalo ... Aaron Jones in GB, and Lions with Gibbs, Montgomery ... yet the ever constant cries on this forum board for a bell cow power bruiser back.

Doesn’t matter either way. That’s the least of our problems Coogs my friend. The type offense they run is just the coat of paint on the same ship that has a leak in the hull. And the ship’s captain hits the same iceberg every season and fires someone else for his mistakes.

We need a new running scheme. KC runs the ball and I still don’t see how.
