Sorry if this has been posted before. The DMN blog carried the below item which I thought you all might find really neat. Seems like our young QB is attracting some interest.

Romo No. 4 in MVP race

At least that's where Sports Illustrated's Peter King puts him. From King's Monday Morning QB, a must-read for NFL fans:
1. Tom Brady, QB, New England. Hostile environment in Cincinnati tonight. And does anyone out there think this 79.5 percent passer won't rise to the occasion in The Jungle? 2. Peyton Manning, QB, Indianapolis. For the record, Manning exits the weekend 160 touchdown passes behind Brett Favre.
3. Brett Favre, QB, Green Bay. For the record, Favre exits the weekend 97 games ahead of Peyton Manning for the record of consecutive starts by a quarterback.
4. Tony Romo, QB, Dallas. Might be the most exciting player in football right now, south of Green Bay.
How does Romo vault to the top of the list? Keep doing what he's doing and outplay Brady and Favre when they come to town.
Simple. Not easy.

I don't think Romo wins unless the guys ahead of him on that list get hurt or struggle.

Brady has never won it before IIRC so voters will think that he's due (I can't really argue against that too much).

Manning is Manning, he's a huge name and no longer has the "can't win the big one" stigma.

Favre broke that record and is leading a team nobody thought would be competetive before thie season started to a 4-0 record. Plus he seems to be the feel good story of this season.

Romo is the youngest in that group and there's probably the notion that he's just getting started, so there's no reason to rush out and vote for him this year.

If Romo outplays Brady and if we win, then Romo has to leap over Brady...but those are big ifs.

I dont know, MVP mean most value. Manning has a dominant rb and a "team" which won crucial post season games recently while he wasnt at his peak. The Pats right now you would have to say has a better overall "team" than the Boys. To me Favre could be #1 and Romo #2. But thats right now of course.

If Romo has a big game and beats NE he will go to the top.

romo doesn't get any respect, just wait NE this train is coming thru, it's called the ROmo express, don't blink it will be gone, gone, gone and we'll be on our way..

long *** they know he is a great qb he be okay

You just may end up being the first person to get on my ignore list simply because of the fact that I never understand a thing you post.

Romo has played great all 4 games. Dallas would be winless without him.

Favre has played great in three games, he sucked in game 1.

Feel good, record breaking story or not, Romo has been the better QB thus far.

He needs to outplay Brady and crush Pats. He then plays as he has and Romo wins MVP. I think Favre will fade second half.

All I know is that damn Favre is going to steal Romo's offense player of the week award I bet, for breaking the record. Argh!!!
