I’ve warned about these kicker threads before, but this kicker might be “unjinxable”

I agree sign him soon.

The Cowboys have him for the next 3 years, I think. I don’t think the Cowboys could do a new contract right now, even if they wanted.

He has to play 3 years before he is eligible for a new contract, I think.

Same with Bland. He has to wait another year to be eligible for a be contract. The Cowboys probably tag him with exclusive rights free agent and keep him another year after that. Then he hits the jackpot in a new contract.

Get him on 3-4 year contract asap. He might be most consistent player.
He's essentially on a 3-4-year contract because he's a rookie. Dallas retains his rights for the next three years as an exclusive free agent, then the fourth year he's a restricted free agent so Dallas could offer him a first- or second-round tender that other teams would not match.

He's signed through 2025 with no dead cap consequences if he's cut. Not sure what else you could ask for.

I thought K was going to be a weak spot on the team but he has been awesome

Don’t remember who on here but I was told the kid was really good and we would be fine and I didn’t believe him

I approve of this message! Sign him. What a find. Let's just hope a contract won't jinx him lol.

Bingo. No need to do anything more than year to year early in, as they own his rights fully until rfa and even then they can slap a tender no team would want to match

Good grief. New bed, ever discuss a hot kicker the same way you don’t discuss a no hitter while it’s happening. Plus kickers are streaky so no to signing him long term.
