Singing Big Mike’s praises

There is zero chance Garrett would have this team at 3-1. 2015 gave you a good look at what Garrett was capable of when his starter got hurt. A bad 4-12 year. The offense was terrible. Big Mike gets ripped on a lot here but really he has done an excellent job this season. All 3 phases are working. Offensive game plan has been smart. Good clock management. Team is playing physical and smart. Really it’s been a very solid effort by the coaching staff. Those of you that want him gone so they can hire Payton need to compare the historical records. Payton would not be an upgrade. Big Mike has done a good job here.

Walk around head coaches do a lot of things that HCs that focus on one side of the ball. That said, the main difference between MM and JG is that Garrett Sucks!

Hell no...he is a lazy boob, who will once again go winless in the post season. If we are lucky enough to get a wildcard birth. Maybe I was wrong when I said that the majority of the posters on this site....unlike the idiots in Frisco attending First Fake....were actually realists. Some of you look to have been conned after only FOUR games....are you nutz???

I have and still do believe he is a big upgrade over JG. However, not sure he is a great coach, but best we’ve had since Parcells. I think his game and clock management is super sus many times but def believe there is no way on earth JG has us at 3-1 right now.

He takes special teams seriously for one. Meanwhile garret has scouts as his special teams coach.


He also is a far more aggressive coach than garret ever was. Yes his time management isn’t the best. But McCarthy is actually really good at deciding when to go for it on 4th, when to go for 2, etc.

While it's probably Moore, Quinn, and Bones doing the adjusting, MM has to okay it and trust his coaches.

Garrett was a Jerry protege. McCarthy has a legit resume, and comes from a quality coaching tree. And the team overall looks light years better than it did under Garrett.

I do think the whole Peyton off season flirt was insulting . Jerry has your back not so much . Even hinting at a QB controversy was absurd . If and when Stephen takes over I wish the radio shows the in the locker room hanging out would end .
