On paper maybe. Davis was underwhelming last season and Cox has clearly lost a step. Carter is a coin flip. Not being able to finish positional drills at your own pro day is concerning. The Giants have Dexter Lawrence who is probably the best nose guard in league but Leonard Williams took a big step back last season. Washington by far has the best interior defensive line. The Cowboys by far has the worst

Davis was underwhelming last season

It's early but looks like he was over-drafted. He didn't do much in college. I think everyone was jacked over his blistering 40 at the combines.

If it played out like this, I would probably take Kancey. He’s undersized but possesses elite tools. Mayer would be the safe pick of the remaining guy. We would probably take McDonald who we have been linked to. Really like him as well. Would be a welcomed addition.

I don't think the Eagles will draft a DT again, even though they like drafting DTs. I can see them going OL or CB with their first pick.

Eagles picking Carter would be a nightmare

DTs take a year or 2 to get up to speed so if Davis picks it up we will have huge problems with Carter

That would be a heck of a reach but I hope they do it. Campbell is not a 1st round player.

But yet 7th in points allowed which is really what matters and one spot behind even our defense despite an almost identical schedule.
I believe in having a good DL and I wish we had theirs but their offense scared me far more than their D. Frankly, outside of Cox who has always been a nemesis to us, they aren’t scaring me.
