What could happen if rumors true that Bits going to active in FA.

Restructuring will be Dak, Lawrence, Martin, Gallup. Zeke will take a pay cut.

Resigns will be Pollard on 5 year deal that will actually be a 3 year deal. LVE on 4 year deal, Steele on RFA tender, Wilson on 3 year deal, Hankins on 1 year deal, McQuaid on 3 year deal, Anthony Brown on 1 year deal.

Big signing will be Da'RonPayne DT, then Parris Campbell and DK Chark WRs. Then Will Hernandez OG fir OL depth.

1. Joey Porter CB PSU - size, length, speed that Quinn likes. Pairs well with Diggs and Bland.

2. Steve Avila OG/OC TCU - he can start right away at LG. Makes OL better with Tyler Smith staying at LT. Tyron Smith stays on as Swing OT. Waletzko will be backup RT. Alarcon becomes backup OG with Hernandez. Steele will bring ready by mid training camp at RT.

3. Zach Harrison DE Ohio ST. - good depth and potential starter.

4. Zach Charbennet RB UCLA - potential 3rd back and change of pace guy.

5. Michael Wilson WR Stanford - smart player always gets open, plays faster than timed.

5. Jack Campbell LB Iowa - LVE backup

6. Tanner McKee QB Stanford - good backup

7. Jayson Kirkland OL Washington - could potentially be a great steal.

7. Isaiah Land Edge Florida A&M - steal if here

UDFA
Andrei Iosivie WR Princeton
Mike Edward's OL Campbell
Anthony Miller, Jr. LB Jackson St.

Better defense and better offense.

From what I've seen so far Joey Porter Jr is projected as high as #10 to Philly and as low as #17 to Pittsburgh. Don't think he will drop to 26.

They need to cut Zeke and let Pollard walk. Take advantage of the strength of the draft.

Campbell and McKee will go much higher and the Princeton WR will be drafted.

Stephen Jones cares more about being right than being good so I doubt the sudden shift in free agent philosophy. The fact that they brag about taking their family vacation the first week of free agency is a huge middle finger to the fan base.

Pretty good, just don't know if there's much improvement with Clark and Campbell. Chark had 1 good season 4 yrs ago. And Campbell isn't anything to brag about. I could see one of them and a high draft pick.

And Lawrence would fight hernandez on sight.

It would be dumb to let Pollard leave unless they're signing a significant free agent RB.

They would have to force a pick a RB relatively early is they don't have a legit veteran RB.
- Forcing positions/picks is what resulted in drafting Taco.
- Letting the draft come to them is what resulted in Parsons and Tyler Smith.

Running back is so deep that the draft does come to them. Gibbs could very well be the best player on their board at 26. Charbonnet could very well be available at 58. Tank Bigsby, the kid from Pittsburgh, and the kid from Tulane could all be available at 90.

Been saying this for years. Only to hear "you think they arent working on the vacation"

Its not about if they are working or not. Its a horrible look.

I would agree that it's a deep class and we most likely could grab a good RB at almost any point in the draft.
But I disagree with letting Tony walk before hand. Than you would be creating a situation where you are forced to draft a RB, and to do so as soon as possible, just to make sure you get one you like and that fits.
IMHO, intentionally creating holes with the idea you will fill them in the draft is not a good draft strategy.

My plan would be to cut Zeke (unless he's willing to play for practically nothing), re-sign Tony to the most team friendly deal you can and give Davis a shot to be the bell cow. Draft a RB at some point, when it best suits the team and the board.

To me it is a good strategy this year with the deep draft and the money saved.
