Anyone plan on going?
They were one of my favorite bands since high school and I graduated in 87.

Not sure I can handle another one..... If so it will be....

Sun 06/10/2018 Jiffy Lube Live + Testament, Lamb Of God, Behemoth, Anthrax Bristow, VA

Last one I went to, I was in the pit for over 4 hours..... I am worried if I do it again, I would need to be put back together with super glue.

Wonder if Sam will be going to this, I heard they were going to do some shows opening up for Rush.

They will be about an hour from me and Slayer would sacrifice Rush on stage while playing Raining Blood if they come within 500 miles of Slayer.

Fri 06/01/2018 Mohegan Sun + Testament, Lamb Of God, Behemoth, Anthrax Uncasville, CT

I've already decided to pass though. (I passed the last time they came too) I had a chance to buy the tickets pre-sale, but let it go.

I know it has been almost 5 years but how has the band sounded since Jeff Hanneman died? Saw a few tribute songs but can't say I heard much since.... Yes I know, bad fan.... bad fan.....

I've seen them twice since Jeff died. I saw them at the Big Four in Yankee Stadium, then again a year or so later at Madison Square Garden.

Live the sound as good as always. Though to be honest. The only full albums I really like are the albums with Dave Lombardo playing drums. (All early albums and Christ Illusion) other than those albums, I just like a couple of songs per album.

The drums we're flat out better and Tom would actually sing more than just mono-scream into the mic.

That last album they
put out with Gary from Exodus was actually pretty good and had a couple wicked videos like mini action movie. YouTube relentless and you against you.

Would like to see Testament.

Loved anthrax but being older now when I hear Joey's voice I forget just how bad he sounded even though I loved the band.

Only listened to a couple lamb of god songs and they just didn't do much for me so I never gave a fair shot to them.

Behemoth has some absolutely brutal music. I dontd care for the whole panda band makeup thing and the lyrics and vocals are meh.... But the music is just dark and brutal.

Would love to go see concert but chances are I will jot as I am trying to save up for a new glock lol

I can agree with that Repentless has more good songs than most non-Lombardo albums.

I would like to see Testament too, and no interest in Lamb of God or Behemoth.

Edit: oh and I love old Anthrax with Joey

Glad to say I got to see Testament around the time they did their Live at the Fillmore CD. Somewhere around 95 I believe..... Was an awesome band back then but grew to darker less known bands since then..... Lamb of God I have seen twice when they were touring with Slipknot. Being a Virginia band, I can see them regularly here.... Behemoth I saw in Chicago for the 3 day open air concert in 2016. Was one of the heaviest death metal bands there.... As far as Anthrax is concerned, I loved their early albums. The first 4 reminds me of my skateboarding days in the 80's.... Sadly not kept up with them since the "Sounds of White Noise" came out..... Still enjoy the I'm the man song though I liked the CD I mentioned before the best.

The real reason to go is to see Slayer one last time..... You know I want to..... Just not sure my body can handle what my heart wants.... In pretty bad health right now.... Things could change by June though..... Here's hoping for such.... Would love to take a chance and enjoy them one more time.....

I've seen SLAYER probably 7 or 8 times in my life. Last time was when they were with Testament and Megadeth. I'm not sure if I'll make this tour or not but I KNOW I'll regret it if I don't. Ugh!

That's the first time I heard corpse paint refered to as panda paint. Lol
The thing about black metal is I really love a band or can't stand them.
Immortal, Emperor, Dimmu Borger, Mayhem, Burzum and Darkthrone are my favorites.
