Put together a little video slideshow of our pics from a recent trip to Ireland. Thought y'all might enjoy it. :) If you've never been, I recommend going...it's a beautiful country with friendly people and a lot to see and do.

This would be my first stop on a dream trip to see the land my ancestors left. I am making plans now for a trip in a couple of years.

Cool pix.

It looks like you took in the Guinness Storehouse. Hopefully you got a chance to try the best beer money can buy. :)

If you get the chance to go again I'd recommend a visit to the Giants Causeway. Just along the coast there is also the Bush Mills Distillery. The oldest distillery in the world.

I agree with Arch well worth the seeing

I try and get up there every St. Paddy's day usually never make it out of Dublin as the Guinness and the kindness flow pretty freely.

Ireland is freaking awesome. Don't know how else to write that. A lifetime of laughter bunched into two weeks. What a blast.

Nice...you didn't happen to see any kind of paranormal activity while you were there, did you?

My wife and I spent 8 days in Ireland a month ago. We spent two days in Dublin which is just ok. We then rented a car and drove around the southern and western parts for the rest of the time. That's the best part of Ireland: small towns, lots of sheep, old castles, real local food, more sheep, scenic cliffs, small country roads, and more sheep. Did I mention there's a lot of sheep?

Renting a car and driving around is the best way to see Ireland. You get used to driving on the other side of the road pretty quick. Pay attention and you'll be fine.

What's really neat is that so many of your pictures are of places we went to as well. In fact, we probably took many of the exact same pictures.

How did you get your pictures in a video to upload to youtube? I need to do that with our pictures.

I figured it out and quickly made a video of our pictures. My video is twice as long because I just didn't take the time to weed down the pictures from my first selections.

Of course, I can't figure out how to embed the video so here's the link.

Thanks for inspiring me to do this!
