Smart Football: Did Cam Newton Flunk the Jon Gruden Test?

If you guys haven't been reading the blog "Smart Football", you're not nearly as good at Xs and Os as you pretend to be.

This is the best analysis of the Gruden-Newton video I've seen.

If they don't use long-winded calling, how can you expect him to throw out a long-winded call?

And I'm sure the plays weren't "simple", but instead they just simplified the calls. I'm sure that not ever team in the NFL uses long drawn out calls like Gruden rambled off either.
