Snap counts from Sat night’s game. Some things that stood out:
  • Cowboys had 73 snaps to egirls 71.
  • Tyron Smith in only his second game back, played all 73 offensive snaps.
  • Trayvon Diggs played all 71 defensive snaps.
  • Tony Pollard had 39 snaps to Zeke’s 34.
  • Deron Bland had 67 snaps; Nashon Wright had 38 defensive snaps; Kelvin Joseph had 0.
  • Calvin Watkins only had 29 snaps but caused a critical fumble.
What else jumped out?

You spelled 3 player’s names wrong in your summary. That’s what jumped out to me. :)

Calvin Watkins is a bit old to start his NFL career...

14 snaps for M. Alexander, one completion for 8 yards. Good game for him.
He will probably see more snaps the next two weeks leading into the playoffs.
Kelvin Joseph is done.
I don’t know if he’s done for good but he probably is this year. He had a great opportunity and it’s obvious the coaches don’t trust him yet.

Tyron Smith is a BEAST!!!! I thought he was done for good. Never would have thought this would happen.

Tyron Smith: rehabbed well, and worked hard in a short time to get back to what the Cowboys can expect at this stage in his career.
Bottom line = he is all in on helping this team go deep in the playoffs
I expect nothing less from Diggs being on the field all the time; just want him to be savvy... know when he can make a big play versus getting fooled by the playoff offenses setting him up to fail
Don't know who determines when 20 or 21 are on the field --yardage needed for a 1st, defensive weakness recognized, formations, etc;.
OC (HC) need to be sharp to keeping opposing defenses off guard \ back on their heels \ confused

Just for future reference. If you are going to critique spelling you should also offer the correct spelling. Otherwise, you are just being a curmudgeon rather than being helpful.

I have nothing against being a curmudgeon if that's what you want to do. Just own it. It takes one to know one. ;)

Too many snaps for Parsons. The Lions out of breath.

So much for cutting back on Micah's reps to get him feeling better for the playoffs.

He is a bum.
Yea I don't see it. He'd have to get in the film room and really put in work because he doesn't have natural cornerback talent. Many thought him running a 4.3 meant he had talent. He really doesn't besides the straight line speed
