Here are the snap counts from Sundays game vs dolphins.
Some observations:
  • Cowboys had 66 snaps to dolphins 65.
  • LB Damone Clark was off the field for 23 snaps.
  • Mazi Smith had 26 snaps; I believe that has been his season high.
  • Jourdan Lewis was a bright spot on D. He had 5 tackles including 1 TFL.
  • Jalen Tolbert had 24 snaps including that spectacular 45 yard catch.
What else did you notice?

Surprised Hendershot got more snaps than Schoon. Sure, only 3 snaps, but I felt like what they needed the most of their tight ends, especially the #2TE, was blocking, and Hendershot ain't that guy.
Nor did Hendershot step up in the reception department either.

I wish the snaps for Parsons had another split for off ball LB and then DE. Sort of surprised at the lack of snaps for Armstrong. Thought he showed some decent upside as a rotational guy last year. Forget if it was due to an injury ahead of him.
I think Bell was a good sub at first for LB but wish they could get more of a stack and shed guy in there for at least a rotation. Maybe Evans is completely washed as a defender but 0 snaps for him on defense.

Hendershot is a penalty magnet as well. I’d wager he leads the team in per snap penalty ratio the past two years.

I noticed Tolbert changed his first name.

I'd assume if McKeon didn't land on IR Hendershot wouldn't of been on the field.
Not seeing much upside with Hendershot this year.

Gallup needs to be playing less snaps than Tolbert at this point.
