Soft Coverage today?

I think it would kill us in the cold/slippery weather. If we make it easy, we will pay for it. I'd rather play man and give up one or two bigger plays than give up 15 7-8 yard plays because we are 12-15 yards off receivers. Jam and Man I say!

We haven't played predominantly soft coverage in a while -- probably close to two months.

theogt is right. we've been press covering for a while now. WAY too much attention on their crappy passing game in this forum. Pitt will run it right at us, again and again and again....book it.

We do play off some of the time but we are mixing up our coverages much more than we were early in the season. I imagine we'll see some more of the same today.

it's been a direct correlation to our improved defensive play as well. It's night and day. You could even see it two weeks ago against the niners. We let up, and they started scoring.

If the coaches were to revert back to a less aggressive style they should be executed.
