At least they were for me. I wanted to see where Dallas ranked in points scored given their red zone struggles. Surprisingly, they still rank 4th league wide with 124 points, just a point behind San Francisco.

I think the defense has definitely helped in those numbers.

Defensively, they’re 1st in the league, having given up just 41 points. And that’s despite the inexplicable no-show against Arizona.

If this huge differential holds up, I think it bodes very well the rest of the season.

Defensive points don’t count and the offense should still score on those drives for statistical purposes. Then, once the game is clearly in hand, they should throw some bombs so personal stats look better.

I guess you missed the other posts where I don't remember who it is maybe passed to run or something tries to take away the 4th ranking because he analyzes it and breaks down and takes all the points away that we're field goals and extra points which are ridiculous but ranks us 11th but still we haven't needed our offense in any of these games to really have to take over because it wouldn't have mattered in Arizona the defense couldn't stop anybody and we had three offensive lineman missing so yeah we have yet to see the full offense when it's under pressure it needing to score points and open it up a bit so I'm curious if that's today...

This validates what MM has said.......we are moving the ball/no team has been able to stop our offense. The problem is we are not finishing drives with TDs but a lot of FGs.
BTW......where does our FG kicker rank in points? Gotta be near the top

The RZ woes are real but the team is getting there nearly every offensive possession.
That makes the defense better and rested. And the rested defense gets the ball back to the offense fast.
There is a reason Dallas is winning games by 20+ even when they are not efficiently scoring TDs in the RZ.

I think our kicker is the leading scorer.

But yeah, we’ve gone up and down the field on everyone so far, we’ve just struggled in the red zone. That needs to change.

somebody did similar analysis and taking away defensive and special teams points, we ranked #10.
