-Thought playcalling and design in the 1st half got the win today. The did well negating a dominant front 4. The Tolimson sack and the strip sack of Dak showed what they could do. Thankfully those two plays didnt cost us much and we were able to control the game on that side of the ball. 2nd half, I really wish they would have ran more

- LB's looked night and day from last year. Swarming to the ball, seemingly always in the right position. Watching Kendricks and Overshown kind of reminded me of watching the old school Tampa 2 LB's

- Secondary was also very impressive. Seemed like their whole passing offense was check downs the Nguoku.

- Elliott looked decent, but the HB's as a group look bad. I want Cook over Dowdle

- Kneeland looks farther along as a pass rusher than advertised. Dlaw looked in 2018/2019 form. Strong side could be in good hands this year

- Guyton had a tough time with Garrett but didnt look overwhelmed. Didnt see Smith sack and who that was on

- I want to see more Jalen Brooks. He has looked smooth when he gets the ball but such a small sample size

Good post Darth. Defense was impressive. Overshown looks like a heat-seeking missile.

Jourdan Lewis is like a fine wine. Just seems to get better. Defense gets an A.

Zeke looked refreshed. Let’s see how he holds up. Dak will find his stride. Solid game from Prescott. Play calling was a solid B. These are the type games against good defenses where Garrett, and then Kellen seem to fold. Still room for improvement.

Special teams gets an A+! Aubrey and Turpin! Fingers crossed that Ferguson doesn’t miss too many games.

On to week two at home vs the Saints. Heads down and continue the preparation.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised, but yet expected a good performance as well.

Score could have been higher. But knocking off the rust as well. Not complaining at all.

MM maybe got a little too conservative in the 2nd half but he did the right thing. No reason to take chances when you’re up 20-3 and your defense is playing so well. Close up your playbook early to save those plays for the next game.

They did better than I thought. I expected a win. Called it a few times the past week, but I thought it would be even uglier, so I was pleasantly surprised. There's still a ton of work to do, but it was a good win.

Agree with most of this.

I think Dallas' secondary got away with a little bit on some erratic throws and a couple of drops. The Browns offense did not show up ready to play at all.

Interior DL and the linebackers were on point.

Joseph and Phillips both played well and will help this D.

My goodness is Overshown FAST. He made Micah look slow chasing Watson.

I tried to tell people Kendricks was still a game changer!

Props to Tyler Guyton, who only started 13 games in college at right tackle and surviving against Garrett

Good points presented here.

Hope Kendrick’s stays healthy and has juice at season’s end. He’s no spring chicken.

Demarcus Lawrence has been a great player for Dallas. Great against the run along with being a solid pass rusher. A complete DE.

Agree on a ton of your points. I was shocked D-Law still looks good...kudos to him. LBs...night/day.

Particularly agree about the RB group...this will bite us at some point in the not so distant future. Our division is full of DT combos that are nightmares.

I won't go that far, but I TOO am guilty of underrating him. I put him above Greg Ellis but behind Ware/Haley in the hierarchy.

I do wonder if they look at a trade in the coming weeks.
