CFZ Something I have just thought about involving the Cardinals

I have been thinking about the loss since the game ended, as I stated in a previous thread. While thinking about it, here's something that I have just thought about involving the Cardinals. I think we were expecting an easy win because of the fact that the Cardinals don't have Murray starting and because they have a new OC. Well, the Cardinals, today, made me realise that they have a lot in common with the 2022 Seattle Seahawks.

Last year, the Seahawks had binned off Russell Wilson to the Broncos and had 2 first round picks for the following draft. The Cardinals have 2 first round picks for 2024.

A lot of people thought that the Seahawks were going to tank last season, much like the Cardinals this year. Yet, the Seahawks ended up surprising everyone and ended up being a very good team.

While the Cowboys played horribly, and this was truly a humiliating defeat, I must say that the Cardinals have been much stronger than I thought they'd be through 3 weeks. They pushed Washington and the Giants to their limits. They just dominated us. I'm not so sure they are tanking. I think, given that they own their own pick and the Texans 1st round pick, they are realising they are playing with house money, much like Seattle last year. Josh Dobbs played against us last year with Tennessee and our defence struggled last year with him.

All this is to say, I think that we and the Cowboys greatly underestimated Arizona. I think, much like with Seattle last year, we are going to realise later in the season that they are much better than anyone anticipated. Maybe I'm just trying to hard to cope, but I also can't help but notice the similarities.

Over the last 15 years the Cowboys are 1-7 versus the Cardinals, the lone win coming in 2017 (on the road).

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that they did it again.

So basically, what I’m hearing is:

The Cardinals, Broncos, 49ers, and Aaron Rodgers own us?

Cards celebrated like they won the Super Bowl. Dallas was just trying to figure out who could play this week. It was a perfect storm.

This is also another point people refuse to accept.

Losing Diggs on Thursday. Then losing Biadasz, Martin and Smith.
I can’t believe these embarrassing excuses. The Cardinals were without Murray, Baker, and half of their DL.

Fur sure. It was a tough situation with that, and every team has an off game. It happens. Unfortunately, it's amplified when it happens to us because we're Cowboys fans.
