I don't know how many people pay attention to this stuff here... but I am really curious to see how Monday's game unfolds for one major reason... Usually we are on the receiving end of BS penalty after BS penalty and I think much of that is because Dallas has too many fans that throw their money hoping their favorite team wins. Well Philly being +7 points, I think for once we are on the opposite end of the betting public (I think about 55% is on Philly right now?) and it will be a sight to see if suddenly all those BS/Ticky Tack penalties are in OUR favor instead of against us. Just something to watch for while you're enjoying the game I suppose.....

i thought +7 in the bookie world meant you were picked to lose by 7?

That would be right. Philly is being picked to lose by 7 points.

You believe that the point spread has something to do with who gets what flags and how many?

Sorry but I think that's a stretch.

Many many many believe that.I dont but sometimes am quite curious.

We have scene some referee's from various sports get brought to justice when it comes to penalties...

Watch out for the referree on the grassy knoll.

"Unnecessary roughness on #98. Hitting the QB in the head. Back and to the left, back and to the left, back and to the................"

not the spread, the fact that the majority of the betting public is betting on philadelphia +7. Almost always the cowboys have the majority betting on them, i.e. like ~70% was on dallas last week vs cleveland despite being 6point favorites on the road.

....Then #98 pauses in mid-air, turns, and impacts the blocking back first in the wrist and then in the thigh, somehow landing safely on the turf with absolutely no grass stains whatsoever.

#98 DID get called for "running through attempted hold" so anything is possible.

The truth is out there. :D
